Owner / Pack Leader
Hi everyone! I'm Allison - owner of Moonwalks Dogwalking and Pet Sitting.
You know how smiley you get when animals are so happy to see you? Yeah, me too. Knowing that I get to make your animal's day by playing fetch and giving lots of back scratches is a huge part of why I started Moonwalks. Handing out treats has made me so many best friends!
While I call the Garden Oaks/Oak Forest area my home, currently four cats call me Mom: Chica, Joonie, Maui, and Agatha.
When I'm not caring for your pets, you might find me at my favorite place in Houston: the walking trail at Memorial Park. It’s a great way to get exercise while observing wildlife such as birds and rabbits; it’s also fun to see others there with their dogs running or walking on the trail alongside them. Such a therapeutic place for me!
I love to travel! Not only across the US but internationally, too. So far, I’ve been to Italy, Croatia, Mexico, Egypt, and India. Additionally, in my downtime, I enjoy drawing, roller skating, and playing acoustic guitar.

Call me boring, but my favorite place in Houston is home. Seriously, it’s the place where the best memories are made, am I right? It’s where I’m accepted and celebrated, where my sewing machine is and where my cats are.
Supporting my daughter in her business is one of the highlights of my life. The exercise is great, the animals are appreciative and loving, and the everyday encounters bring out my adventurous side!
On the weekends, you'll find me at neighborhood outdoor markets sharing my quilts and other hand-sewn items with shoppers. Designing quilts and piecing fabric together is truly a passion of mine along with gardening: planting, and digging in the dirt. I’m pretty much a home body. Traveled to Louisiana, Oklahoma, California, Nevada, Hawaii, Mexico, Grand Cayman Island.
My favorite funny work story is from when I was walking a dog named Baby Girl. As we walked by a woman who was weeding her walkway, she greeted us and casually commented that she had been sitting on a dead frog the whole time she'd been weeding.
